Producing steel with electricity from green sources and hydrogen instead of fossil fuels, Stockholm-based H2 Green Steel plans to start large-scale production by 2025, Colorado-based Electra has developed an emission-free iron production process at a relatively cool 60 degrees Celsius (compared to the 1,600 degrees Celsius traditionally required).
