WEO 2000 Table 3.9 (Renewables capacity and generation by region, 1997/2010/2020, Reference Scenario) lists Wind per region but no world row, and groups solar as "Solar/Tide/Other". Regional rows were not summed (no interpolation). No world solar PV projection.
The World Energy Outlook 2000 expects that under the policies and measures included in the Reference Scenario, electricity generation from wind power will increase by 12.6% per year, from 11 TWh in 1997 to 178 TWh in 2020.
