As smart glasses proliferate and AR becomes commonplace over the next decade, diminished reality (DR) presents an opportunity to virtually mask, reduce, or suppress features of one’s environment, rather than simply build on top of it. Source
Verdict Not listed again within the publisher's next two editions, nor later (D33 ). Diminished reality (masking features of the environment in AR) is not Diminished Sensory Overload (sensory support for people with autism); no match.
A trend is graded on whether the publisher keeps it, never as a hit or a miss (D6 , D33 ).
