2007-2010 method: Global Risk Network expert assessment (workshops, interviews, partner analysis) of a list of core global risks over a 10-year horizon; likelihood as a probability band and severity mainly as economic damage in US$ (and deaths). 2009 and 2010 add a web-based Global Risks Perception Survey of risk experts for interconnections. The risk list grew each year (for example 31 risks in 2008, 36 in 2009). Not directly comparable with survey rankings from 2011. Label and category as printed in Table 1.3 'The Evolving Global Risks Landscape (2007-2014)' of Global Risks 2014 (p. 17), the earliest retrospective WEF table found; wording in the edition's own report not checked. The Global Risks Report 2020 Figure I reprints the same ranks with shortened and sometimes changed labels and colours, kept as label_grr2020_figure and category_grr2020_figure.
