HAVELSAN, Turkey's state-owned defense software company, has developed a comprehensive suite of indigenous combat management systems (CMS) deployed across the Turkish military's naval vessels, armored vehicles, and command centers. The GENESIS naval CMS, ADVENT air defense CMS, and various C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) platforms provide the digital nervous system for Turkey's defense forces.

Combat management software is the integration layer that connects sensors, weapons, and operators into a coherent fighting system. Unlike hardware, which can be reverse-engineered or procured from multiple sources, CMS software creates deep dependency — the nation that writes your combat software potentially knows your capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational patterns. Turkey's decision to develop indigenous CMS across all platforms eliminates this strategic exposure.

HAVELSAN's systems are now being exported alongside Turkish warships and defense platforms, creating a growing base of international users and an ecosystem of interoperability. The company also develops cybersecurity solutions, simulation systems, and smart city platforms, leveraging defense-grade software engineering for civilian applications.
