Flo Health (UK, $1B valuation) is Europe's first femtech unicorn, using advanced algorithms and 3D visualization to help users predict menstrual cycles, monitor symptoms, and manage reproductive health. With 380+ million users globally, it is the most-used reproductive health app in the world.

The technology combines cycle prediction algorithms (trained on hundreds of millions of anonymous cycles), symptom tracking, and personalized health insights. The 3D visualization interface makes complex health data intuitive, and the AI provides increasingly accurate predictions as it learns individual patterns.

Femtech represents a European strength in digital health: building products that serve populations historically underserved by technology, within regulatory frameworks (GDPR, Medical Device Regulation) that create trust. The European regulatory environment, while restrictive, provides a competitive moat: US and Asian competitors cannot easily replicate the privacy guarantees that European users expect for intimate health data.
