[AGC](https://www.agc.com) is a global glass and materials manufacturer seeking to systematically identify innovation opportunities across its core business units. AGC engaged Envisioning to deploy a multi-model AI scanning approach — with parallel language models, proprietary deduplication, and a custom multi-tier readiness assessment framework tailored to each business unit's strategic context.

The collaboration produced a continuously updated signals intelligence platform spanning multiple business units, each with dedicated radar visualizations, verified signal outputs, and cross-unit analysis revealing shared strategic opportunities across AGC's portfolio.

The engagement established foresight infrastructure as a core input to AGC's innovation process, integrating technology scanning, ecosystem mapping, and customer readiness frameworks.

Envisioning facilitated structured work sessions with AGC's business development and R&D teams, aligning each business unit around a shared scanning methodology, assessment framework, and research briefing process. Sessions combined live demonstration of the signals platform with collaborative customization — defining unit-specific categories, priorities, and exclusion criteria to ensure outputs were directly actionable within AGC's innovation workflow.

The radar proved useful for onboarding different business units and validating theoretical objectives with data-driven insights.
