The VBTP-MR Guarani is a multi-role armored personnel carrier developed jointly by the Brazilian Army and Iveco Defence Vehicles. In service since 2013, it features a modular design adaptable to troop transport, command, medical evacuation, and reconnaissance roles.

Brazil delivered 16 units to Lebanon in 2015 and is now fulfilling orders for the Philippines, marking successful defense exports to both the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The vehicle combines tactical mobility, ballistic protection, and optional remote weapons stations.

The Guarani represents Brazil's ability to design and manufacture military platforms that compete internationally on price-performance. While not cutting-edge compared to European or American vehicles, its combination of capability and affordability targets the large market of developing countries modernizing their armed forces.
